Moms Matter: Why We Love Moms
Moms are truly the heart of the home. We don't always feel like it, but we have much to offer. It's a through a mother's love, that our children learn a measure of kindness to take into their adult lives. It's those morning pancakes and holding their heads when they're sick that really make a difference.
When asked the best things about moms, my children came up with the following:
Moms...
get us to bed at night
love us
give us ice cream (what's life without ice cream?)
are special, super moms
are the best things in the world, other than cats.
play games with us on the computer
save the world
are special the way they are
give us food
tuck us in at night time
bake dinner for us
give us medicine when we're sick
help us know what we have to do
help us with our homeschool
eat popsicles with us
help us with Taekwondo
I hope you can relate to some, if not all, of these things. Your children think the world of you. Your love, sacrifice, patience, strength, and unceasing devotion is what will shape the next generation in and outside your home. That being said, Happy Mother's Day to all you moms!
